GST Migration has been started as its will be implemented from the 1st july 2017. but there are lot of the errors on the GST Government official portal which is faced by the old taxpayers which are registered under the respective state VAT/CST Registration or Service tax registration. The most common problem is about to create the new user id and password on the GST Portal but taxpayers are facing some problem when they signup on the GST Portal. so let’s talk about how you can solved the problem of “Your RC Under is Cancelled” status.
So Let’s understand first what is the problem :-
Update on 24th June 2017 : Provisional IDs will be reissued for those CE and ST assessees by 25th June 2017 whose Provisional IDs were cancelled due to not being activated by them.
a) when you login in your existing ACES Portal of service tax then there is tab to generate the provisional user id and password.
b) now in the next step you have to visit the offical GST Portal to generate the new user id and password where you have to show the message as “Your RC Under is Cancelled, therefore, your provisional id stands cancelled, hence you are not permitted to migrate under gst”.
So when you contact to the CEBC Helpdesk and search anywhere on the internet, we got the following solutions from other user’s or tax department or other websites :-
“Its is because provisional id’s issued to registered in aces till the 31.01.2017 and not utilized by the entities(assesses) has been cancelled as either not required or as non- usable.
In such case the assessee wants to migrate to the GST Portal, they have to follow the following instructions :-
- Send email to email@example.com from registered email id of assessee to ACES.
- Email should assessee registered email id.
- Subject of the Email will be – Provisional id and password required to migrate to GST.
- Mentioned your service tax or excise registration number.
- any other problem faced in enrollment shall also be mentioned.
- May also call to helpline to describe problem for further solution.
